Tourism delivered $38.8 billion in visitor spend into the State’s economy last year with NSW Government investing another $141 million

Minister for Jobs and Investment Stuart Ayres said the Government’s 2019-20 NSW Budget is maintaining a strong focus on delivering jobs for the people of the State.

The NSW Government is building a strong Western Sydney for the future, through transformational projects like the North West Metro, Metro West, Parramatta Light Rail and Bankwest Stadium.

Sydney Metro West will receive $6.4 billion over four years as the 2019-20 NSW Budget delivers on the Government’s promise to accelerate construction on the landmark project.

Unprecedented investment in road and rail projects across NSW will be taken to the next level, with $55.6 billion allocated across the next four years to invest in transport infrastructure,

The Liberals & Nationals continue to invest unprecedented funds into the education system in NSW, with a record $21 billion allocated to schools, early childhood, TAFE and VET in today’s Budget.  

Delivering for families, jobs in the community and boosts to health services in regional NSW are the top priorities for health in the 2019-20 NSW Budget,
